ScanSource Europe has announced that AppSource^TM now has over 25 ready-made data-capture applications available for use on around 30 different handheld terminals by multiple manufacturers. It means that there are now apps available in several languages that are suitable to be used by end-customers in a range of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, mobile operations, retail and warehouse and distribution.

What's more, ScanSource is also providing additional training and application customisation support to help resellers and developers get the most out of AppSource.

AppSource is an online store launched at the beginning of the year that gives resellers convenient access to a library of applications that can be download for free to test, simulate, demo, customise and configure to ensure they meet the needs of the reseller's customer. Once the reseller's customer orders, only then does the reseller have to purchase licences.
